Seller Reports Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Portside Commerce Ltd (“Portside Commerce,” “we,” “us”) handles information accessed through the Seller Reports application (“Seller Reports,” “the application”). It is separate from the privacy policy for the portside-commerce.com website.
Portside Commerce Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17214839), with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
Information We Access
Seller Reports connects to Amazon’s Selling Partner API (SP-API) only after an Amazon seller authorizes it. With that authorization, the application accesses the seller’s own business data from their Amazon selling account, which may include sales and order data, order and sales metrics, inventory and listing data, Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) data, and settlement and financial data.
Seller Reports does not request or access the buyer personally identifiable information (such as buyer names, shipping addresses, or contact details) used to ship orders. The application uses only non-PII reporting data.
How We Use This Information
We use the authorized seller’s data solely to retrieve it from Amazon and deliver it into a Google Sheets workspace that the seller designates and controls, providing consolidated, automatically refreshed reporting and analytics. We do not use this data for any other purpose.
How We Share This Information
We do not sell, rent, or share Amazon Information with any third party. The data is delivered only to the Google Sheets destination that the seller chooses, at the seller’s direction. Google acts as the destination selected by the seller; its handling of data within Google Sheets is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
Data Retention
We retain the seller’s Amazon Information only as long as necessary to deliver it to the seller’s chosen Google Sheets destination, and we do not keep a separate long-term copy of report data beyond that delivery. Authorization credentials and tokens are stored securely and only for as long as the seller’s authorization remains active.
How We Protect This Information
We encrypt Amazon Information in transit. Access to Amazon Information and to authorization credentials is restricted on a least-privilege basis to those who require it. Credentials, tokens, and secrets are held in secure storage; they are never hard-coded into the application, shared, or placed in public code repositories.
Your Control and Your Rights
A seller can revoke Seller Reports’ access at any time from Amazon Seller Central (Apps & Services → Manage Your Apps). On revocation, the application stops accessing the seller’s Amazon account and deletes the associated stored credentials and tokens. Sellers may also contact us to request deletion of any data we hold, using the contact details below. Under UK and EU data protection law, you have rights regarding any personal data we hold, including rights of access, correction, and deletion.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
